The Rangers have been up and down all season long but the one difference in their game recently has been that they've gotten production from a strong line. Chris Kreider, Derek Stepan, and Mats Zuccarello have really come together and given this club another dimension that they were sorely missing offensively. They still struggle to score goals but at least they have a line that's capable of generating scoring chances throughout the course of a game. The other positive is that Henrik Lundqvist has picked up his game after a slow start and as Lundqvist goes so go the Rangers. They'll see a bunch of familiar faces on Thursday night in Columbus as these two teams have made a couple of big trades recently that have swapped a lot of names and faces. There might be a bunch of players looking to do too much in this one and that's always a recipe for disaster so the team that's able to play within themselves and keep it simple should be in good shape. The Rangers are coming into this one after having played Wedneday night so look for Columbus to come out strong in the first period. If the Rangers can weather the early storm they should be in good shape.
