With high expectations for the Columbus Blue Jackets this year things haven't quite gone the way they planned. Sitting at 5-8-0 on the year and losers of three straight the Blue Jackets will need a big effort in this one against the Senators to stop their slide. Swept in a back-to-back by a Pittsburgh Penguins club that's a notch above is nothing to be embarrassed about but Columbus needs to find ways to nip these losing streaks in the bud. Ottawa isn't exactly the team you're hoping to play when you're looking to stop a losing streak either. This is a hockey club that plays hard for 60 minutes and has a ton of different weapons that can beat you. They'll probably need Robin Lehner to stand tall in goal for them with Craig Anderson suffering an injury the other night, but the big kid has what it takes to fill in during his absence. Sergei Bobrovsky needs to get back near his Vezina Trophy winning form for the Jackets to have the type of year they did last season. This isn't an easy spot for either team here but the Senators are the better team.
