The Philadelphia Flyers visit the Columbus Blue Jackets in a Thursday NHL tilt.

The Philadelphia Flyers have followed a two game skid with back to back wins after routing visiting Buffalo 5-2 on Tuesday. Jack Eichel and Casey Mittelstadt lit the lamp for the Sabres who trailed 3-2 heading to the third. Carter Hutton was charged with four goals on 44 shots to absorb the loss for Buffalo.

The balanced Flyers received scoring from Oskar Lindblom, Jacob Voracek, James van Riemsdyk, Travis Sanheim and Claude Giroux. Giroux also posted an assist and Brian Elliott stopped 34 shots to pick up the win.

The Columbus Blue Jackets were denied a third straight win in a 5-2 loss to visiting Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Oliver Bjorkstrand and Cam Atkinson scored second period goals for the Blue Jackets and Sergei Bobrovsky received the loss with four goals allowed on 26 shots.

Jared McCann topped the Pittsburgh offense with a pair of markers while Jake Guentzel, Evgeni Malkin and Sydney Crosby. Crosby also posted an assist and Matt Murray picked up the win with a 21 save performance.
