Tuesday NHL action features the Pittsburgh Penguins traveling to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to get in the win column after a 4-3 OT defeat at Philadelphia on Saturday. Sydney Crosby, Justin Schultz and Evgeni Malkin lit the lamp for Pittsburgh. Crosby also posted an assist and Matt Murray gave up four goals on 37 shots for the Penguins.

Philadelphia received scoring from Sean Couturier, James van Riemsdyk and Jacob Voracek in regulation. Claude Giroux netted the overtime winner and Voracek added a pair of helpers to lift the Flyers and make a winner of Brian Elliott and his 40 stops.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have posted consecutive shutouts after downing visiting San Jose 4-0 on Saturday. San Jose struggled offensively and Martin Jones had issues between the pipes with four goals surrendered on 23 shots.

The Blue Jackets received markers from Boone Jenner, Matt Duchene, Cam Atkinson and Pierre-Luc Dubois. Duchene and Atkinson also assisted for Columbus and Sergei Bobrovsky recorded 26 stops.
