The Blues look to sweep their back to back after getting a home ice win against the Jets last night as they travel to Columbus to battle the Blue Jackets.
The St. Louis Blues look to add another mark to the win column with a big effort on the road tonight but they will be matched up against a Jackets team who has been playing better of late and desperately needs a statement win like this one. The Blues sit in second place in the Central heading into tonight's game and sit just three points back of the Stars for top spot and with an impressive 7-3 mark away from home they will be a tough out for the Jackets who sit in last place in the Metro. The Blues will go with Brian Elliott here as he will go up against Sergei Bobrovsky.
The Blue Jackets were the last team in the league to get a victory but since their awful start they have actually won six of their last 10 contests and are starting to look like the team many thought would compete for a division title. While I think the Jackets are somewhere in between and am not as high on them as others they do have a nice roster and at home against a Blues team who is coming off a win against Winnipeg last night I think they are in a decent position and will have to play a complete game in order to get the victory. However, Columbus hasn't demonstrated quite yet they are ready to turn the corner and in a spot where they are playing a much better team I think they fall a little bit short.
