The Florida Panthers have time to right the ship but the postseason has been inching further away with points in high demand. Florida has dropped five of seven after a 4-3 loss at the Nashville Predators on Saturday where Vincent Trocheck, Derek MacKenzie and Keith Yandle supplying the offense with Evegnii Dadonov adding two assists.

The Dallas Stars objective is to improve upon their current number four position in the Central for a better seed in the postseason. Dallas has been moving in the right direction with wins in three of four following a 7-1 victory at the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. Sam Reinhart scored on the power play for the Sabres with Robin Lehner allowing four goals on 19 shots with Chad Johnson coming in to give up three goals on 13 shots.

Mattias Janmark paced an explosive Stars attack with a pair of goals with Remi Elie, Jaime Benn, Esa Lindell, Radek Faksa and Tyler Pitlick all finding the back of the net. John Klingberg gave Dallas three assists with Jason Spezza and Lindell logging two helpers each to make an easy winner of Kaei Lehtonen and his 26 saves.

Stars are 0-4 in their last 4 after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game and Stars are 4-0 in their last 4 vs. Atlantic and Stars are 5-1 in their last 6 vs. a team with a losing record. Panthers are 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Dallas and road team is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings and over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings in Dallas.

Goals are generally scored when these two teams take the ice so I’m leaning over until I see goalies…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
