Tuesday NHL action pits the Nashville Predators against the Dallas Stars.

The Nashville Predators are in a bit of a funk with losses four of five following a 5-1 loss at Vegas on Saturday. Kevin Fiala scored in the third for the Predators off of a Mattias Ekholm assist. Juuse Saros absorbed the loss for the Predators with five goals allowed on 50 shots to fall to 14-7-2.

Max Pacioretty scored twice for the Golden Knights with Brandon Pirri, Shea Theodore and Oscar Lindberg all finding the back of the net. Alex Tuch gave Vegas two helpers and Malcolm Subban stopped 29 shots to get the win.

The Dallas Stars are in need of a momentum change after a 3-0 loss at Carolina saddled the team with defeats in four of five. The Stars did log 33 shots but Anton Khudobin didn’t have his best game with three goals allowed on 27 shots.

Justin Williams and Brock McGinn sored in the first for Carolina with Michael Ferland lighting the lamp in the third.

Eight players recorded points for the Hurricanes and Petr Mrazek stopped 33 shots to get the win.

Predators are 7-15 in their last 22 road games and Predators are 6-13 in their last 19 games as a favorite and Predators are 1-4 in their last 5 overall.

Stars are 4-0 in their last 4 home games and Stars are 2-5 in their last 7 vs. a team with a winning record and Stars are 1-4 in their last 5 overall.

Predators are 11-27 in the last 38 meetings in Dallas and home team is 19-9 in the last 28 meetings and Predators are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.

Dallas has not scored in two games so something small on the better odds…

Pick:
Nashville -105

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
