The Toronto Maple leafs look to defeat the Dallas Stars for the second time this season as the teams meet up in Texas on Tuesday night.
The Toronto Maple Leafs haven't had a lot to cheer about this season but for their two victories on the season it was very nice to be one of only three teams that have defeated the Dallas Stars this season and they did so in convincing fashion. The Buds are in for a long year as they enter a full blown rebuild mode and with the Stars at the complete opposite end as they are in a win now mode it will be tough for the Leafs to grab two wins against them especially with this one being in Dallas. James Reimer continues to get the nod in the crease as he has outplayed Jonathan Bernier so far this season and he will go up against Kari Lehtonen.
The Stars come into tonight's game as winners of three in a row and 12 of their first 15 games overall but as mentioned they lost their only match up of the season so far against the Maple Leafs. Dallas has some swagger about them this year as Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn are in a world of their own right now and they have a ton of other pieces that have contributed in what is a very deep line up. The Stars are lethal at home and it should be no different here as they make amends for their earlier loss to the Maple Leafs as they should steam roll the blue and white in this one.
