Sunday NHL action pits the Vancouver Canucks at the Dallas Stars.

The Vancouver Canucks are looking to get back in the win column after a 3-2 SO loss to visiting New Jersey on Friday. Elias Pettersson and Tanner Pearson scored for the Canucks. Petterson scored in the shootout and Bo Horvat posted two assists for Vancouver who received 31 stops from Jacob Markstrom.

 Kevin Rooney and Stefan Noesen scored third period goals for New Jersey. Drew Stafford and Damon Severson netted shootout goals and Mackenzie Blackwood picked up the win for the Devils with 25 saves.

The Dallas Stars fell to visiting Vegas 2-1 on Friday but have still won six of eight. Roope Hintz scored unassisted for the Stars in the first period and Anton Khudobin absorbed the loss with two goals allowed on 37 shots.

Max Pacioretty gave Vegas a 1-0 lead 18 seconds in to the game with Ryan Reeves netting the winner in the third. Marc-Andre Fleury picked up the win for the Golden Knights with a 40 save performance.

Canucks are 20-47 in their last 67 road games and Canucks are 3-9 in their last 12 overall and Canucks are 0-5 in their last 5 vs. Western Conference.

Stars are 7-1 in their last 8 vs. a team with a losing record and Stars are 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite and Stars are 6-2 in their last 8 overall.

Canucks are 3-14 in the last 17 meetings and Canucks are 2-7 in the last 9 meetings in Dallas and under is 18-8-3 in the last 29 meetings in Dallas.
