The Washington Capitals visit the Detroit Red Wings in a Sunday NHL tilt.

The Washington Capitals have followed a four game winning streak with a three game skid after a 2-1 OT loss at Dallas on Friday. Lars Eller scored in the second for Washington off of assists from Andre Burakovsky and Brooks Orpik and Phoenix Copley allowed two goals on 29 shots.

The Stars took a 1-0 lead on a power play tally off the stick of Tyler Seguin with Seguin netting the winner in the extra session. Alexander Radulov assisted on both goals and Anton Khudobin picked up the win for Dallas with 36 stops.

The Detroit Red Wings are gunning for back to back wins after a 4-3 OT victory against visiting Nashville on Friday snapped a six game slide. PK Subban, Craig Smith and Ryan Johansen scored for Nashville  with Pekka allowing four goals on 39 shots.

Andreas Athanasiou, Thomas Vanek and Tyler Bertuzzi scpred in regulation for the Red Wings. Dylan Larkin netted the OT winner and Filip Hronek added a pair of helpers to lift Detroit and make a winner of Jimmy Howard and his 27 saves.
