The New York Rangers go to Edmonton, Canada, to take on the Edmonton Oilers on Friday at the Rogers Place. The Rangers played back to back games, playing Friday and Saturday. The New York Rangers won both games in their back to back, defeating the Carolina Hurricanes and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Rangers have seemed to bounce back after going on a poor run of form, losing four of their last five games, only defeating the Anaheim Ducks in their previous five games before the back to back games.

The Rangers are 19-15-4 on the season and tied for second-lowest in the Metropolitan Division. The Rangers have scored plenty of goals with Artemi Panarin being a great new addition, leading the team in points, goals, and assists. The Rangers are decent on offense, but their trouble comes on the defensive end. Of course, Panarin was selected for the NHL All-Star Game this week.

The Edmonton Oilers are on a two-game losing streak at the moment, losing their last game to the Calgary Flames 5-1.

The Edmonton Oilers certainly are not playing their best hockey at the moment, as just recently, they were top of their division, and now they are fifth in the Pacific Division at the moment. They do have Conner McDavid, who is one of the best in the league, but recently, he hasn't been enough to get the Oilers wins.

New York is 25-13 ATS this season
The Rangers are 4-0 in their last four when their opponent allows five goals or more in their previous game.
Edmonton is 19-22 ATS this season
The Oilers are 5-1 in their last six games following a home loss of three or more goals.

Both teams are struggling at the moment to find wins. Typically I would pick the Edmonton Oilers to win based on them having maybe the best player in the NHL. However, the Edmonton Oilers have been dreadful the last few weeks, and I don't see them being able to string a win, and I think that because the New York Rangers are more balanced at the moment, they'll walk away with a win on the road. Final Score Prediction, New York Rangers win 4-1.
