The Kings look to snap their mini two game slide as they head into Sunrise to do battle with the Panthers on Monday night.

The LA Kings dropped a tough one against the Carolina Hurricanes yesterday but they have no time to fret as they continue their road trip in Florida on Monday as they take on the Panthers. The Kings sit in second place in the Pacific division thanks to their loss and San Jose's win over the Blue Jackets but they can pull back to a tie with a victory here against the Panthers but they will have to be sharp as the Panthers need to get back in the win column in a big way as they have lost seven of their last 10 games overall. The Kings are 503 on the road while the Panthers are 5-4-2 on the road. Jhonas Enroth may get the nod after Jonathan Quick started yesterday and Roberto Luongo will likely counter for the Panthers.

Florida has had a bit of an underwhelming start to the season and have hit a bit of a speed bump of late as they are just 3-4-3 in their last 10 contests and haven't looked like the team that was very competitive in the first couple of weeks. The Cats have some really nice pieces in place including Luongo in the crease but they still need a bit more fire power in the offensive zone as both Nic Bjugstad and Jonathan Huberdeau have been quiet so far. The Panthers should be in the mix come playoff time but they need to get it going and a win here against LA would be a nice starting point though it'll be a very tight contest. Either way I think this will be low scoring as two good goalies are squaring off with two great blue lines in front of them and with LA playing last night and giving up four markers I think they get back to it defensively in this one.
