The Florida Panthers welcome the New Jersey Devils to town in a Saturday NHL tilt.

The New Jersey Devils have dropped three of four following a 3-1 loss at Carolina on Thursday. New Jersey took a 1-0 first period lead on an Andy Greene marker. Michael McLeod and Pavel Zacha logged helpers for the Devils and Cory Schneider took the loss with three goals allowed on 25 shots.

Warren Foegele, Justin Faulk and Nino Niederreiter supplied the offense for Carolina. Nine different players recorded points for the Hurricanes which made a winner of Petr Mrazek and his 36 saves.

The Florida Panthers saw their three game winning streak end in a 2-1 SO loss to the visiting NY Islanders on Thursday. Jonathan Huberdeau found the back of the net for the Panthers in the third to erase a 1-0 deficit. Florida did not score in the shootout and Sam Montembeault recorded 35 saves.

Brock Nelson tallied in the second period for New York off of assists from Michael Dal Collie and Josh Bailey. Brock Nelson netted the only goal of the shootout and Thomas Greiss picked up the win for the Islanders with 29 stops.

Devils are 15-38 in their last 53 road games and Devils are 5-13 in their last 18 overall and Devils are 2-9 in their last 11 vs. Eastern Conference.

Panthers are 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite and Panthers are 4-9 in their last 13 vs. Eastern Conference and Panthers are 1-4 in their last 5 vs. Metropolitan.
