The Kings look to shake off a tough loss at home against the Sharks to start their season as they welcome the Coyotes to town who are likely in for a tough season.
TheArizona Coyotes have a lot to look forward to in the coming years when some of their young stars emerge as the league's elite but they still have some growing to do and could be in for a long season in 2015-16. Max Domi and Anthony Duclair have made the full time roster this season while Dylan Strome was sent back to junior but the youth movement is in full effect in the desert and joining the aforementioned youngsters will be of role players including Mikkel Boedker, Antoine Vermette, and Boyd Gordon up front. Oliver Ekman-Larsson is the best player on this team and one of the best defensemen in the NHL but he doesn't have a ton of support to play alongside and Mike Smith doesn't get a lot of help in front of him and as such has had a couple of down years of late.
The Kings meanwhile are looking to get back into the playoffs this season but things didn't start according to plan as they were pasted by the Sharks in their season opener on Wednesday. LA has a very deep team and is among a handful of teams considered to be a favourite in the Western Conference as they have a very deep lineup and one of the best goalies in the NHL. The line on this game is preposterous and for good reason as the Kings are far and away the better team and while it is early in the season and anything can happen I think the only look here is on the puck line for the home side.
