The Bolts look to complete the California sweep after a win in San Jose last night as they head into Los Angeles to battle the Kings.
The Tampa Bay Lightning took down their second California foe in as many outings on Saturday as they have upended the Ducks and Sharks on their west coast trip and now have a chance to go three for three with a big win against the Kings on Sunday. Tampa Bay did lose Ben Bishop though who went down with an injury and while it is uncertain he will lose extended time he likely won't go in this one as Andrei Vasilevskiy will get the start against Jonathan Quick. The Bolts have started to find their game after a bit of a slow start as they're now just four points behind the Sens for third in the Atlantic and can trim that deficit even more with a big win here against the Kings.
Los Angeles meanwhile has won three in a row, is 7-2-1 in their last 10 contests and sit atop the Pacific division with 33 points and will be looking for more here against a Lightning team that went to the Cup final a season ago. The Kings do have a nice roster but haven't been as overwhelming as some people expected this season but thanks to a lackluster showing from the rest of the division they look like the team to beat right now and we all know what can happen if this group gets into the playoffs. Quick has been strong and in this one I think he makes the difference as Vasilevskiy will be a little rusty and while the price isn't great I think LA is a sure fire bet here.
