The Nashville Predators go on the road to oppose the Minnesota Wild in Monday NHL action.

The Minnesota Wild have dropped three of four after a 5-1 loss at Carolina on Saturday. Eric Staal scored a second period power play goal for the Wild and Devan Dubnyk  gave up five goals on 33 shots to get the loss.

The balanced Carolina attack feature goals off the sticks of Jordan Staal, Brett Pesce, Andrei Svechnikov, Lucas Wallmark and Teuvo Teravainen. Teravainen added a pair of helpers for the Hurricanes and Petr Mrazek picked up the win with 24 stops.

The Nashville Predators struggled at both end of the ice in a 5-0 loss at Winnipeg on Saturday. Pekka Rinne was peppered with 43 shots and allowed five goals to drop to 26-19-4 with a 2.44 GAA.

Kyle Connor paced the Winnipeg offense with a goal in the second and two in the third for a hat trick. Kevin Hayes gave the Jets three helpers and Connor Hellebuyck recorded 33 saves to earn the shutout.
