The Senators look to keep their magical playoff run going with another do or die win on home ice on Sunday while the Canadiens take their third crack at wrapping up the series.
The Montreal Canadiens had the Sens on the ropes after going up 3-0 in the series and even though they were in the driver’s seat you could sense that thing were far from over as Ottawa was the better team through those five games and could in their own right had been up by the same mark. The Canadiens have blinded people this season with the spectacular play of Carey Price between the pipes and while he is more than capable of leading this team to the Stanley Cup finals the problem remains if he is mediocre one night the Habs are in deep trouble. Montreal will look to rebound after a sloppy game five and they'll hope to avoid a deciding game seven and take down the series with a win tonight.
The Sens' crazy season took another special turn on Friday night as they went into the Bell Centre and absolutely pasted the Canadiens to the tune of a 5-1 final and now have a chance to win their third straight and force a game seven. Ottawa made the right move by going with the veteran Craig Anderson in goal despite the final stretch in the regular season put forth by Andrew Hammond and they will once again turn to Anderson here who looks like a man on a mission at the moment. This is going to be an absolutely spectacular game to watch and while the value is on the road team the momentum is on the home side and I think they have another strong outing here tonight.
