The Ducks look to continue their strong play after a win in Carolina last night as they head into Nashville to battle the Predators.
The Anaheim Ducks appear to have turned a corner and they'll look to add to their recent winning ways with a statement road win against the Predators on Tuesday. Anaheim is 5-3-2 in their last 10 contests and after a dismal start they are finally starting to get back to the quality of play we have come to expect out of them and while they still need some help in the offensive zone they have the pieces in place to right the ship. Anaheim is 2-5-1 on the road this season while the Predators are 6-1-2 at home. Frederik Andersen will get the call in the crease for the Ducks while the Preds will counter with Pekka Rinne.
The Predators continue to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference as they are 10-3-3 on the season but in the ridiculously competitive Central division that is good enough only for fourth place at the moment. Nashville is built from the crease out and have one of the best goalies in the world in Rinne and with Seth Jones and Shea Weber anchoring the blue line it gives them a potent battery in their own end. If the Preds can add a scoring piece to add to the mix they will be a very tough team to beat and even against good teams like Anaheim you have to bank on the Predators getting things low scoring and that is what we should see tonight. Anaheim falls short as the Preds get the win.
