The Bruins look to continue their road success as they head into the Music City to battle the Predators on Thursday night.
The Bruins head into Nashville on Thursday looking to win their second in a row and chase down the Florida Panthers for the Atlantic division lead but they will be in tough against a Preds side looking to climb up the Central division ladder. The Bruins are just four points back of the Panthers for top spot in the division but in the same light they are just four points removed from falling into a wild card spot so they know they have to be sharp down the stretch if they’re going to get back into the Eastern Conference playoffs. Tuukka Rask is expected to get the start for a Bruins side that is 19-6-3 on the road this season while the Preds will counter with Pekka Rinne who will look to give Nashville their 15th win at home.
The Predators continue to be a tough team to figure out as they have gone on streaks in both directions and with the playoffs looming it’ll be interesting to see if they catch fire in the final month of the season. Nashville sits in fifth in the Central division but are just two back of the Avalanche for fourth and are in the mix for a wild card spot and while they are coming off a loss to the Dallas Stars they have been playing much better of late and match up well against the Bruins. However, the way the B’s generate success on the road makes them a great value play here as they are getting a very good price and I don’t think we can pass up on it.
