Tuesday NHL action pits the Detroit Red Wings at the Nashville Predators.

The Detroit Red Wings have dropped three in a row after a 5-2 loss at Chicago on Sunday. Detroit received markers from Christoffer Ehn and Gustav Nyquist with Jonathan Bernier getting the loss with four goals allowed on 35 shots.

Dominik Kahun paced Chicago with a pair markers with Dylan Strome, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews all finding the scoring column. Strome assisted twice and Alex Debrincat posted three helpers for the Blackhawks who received 43 saves from Cam Ward.

The Nashville Predators have lost consecutive contests following a 5-4 OT defeat to visiting St. Louis on Sunday. Viktor Arvidsson registered a pair of goals for Nashville with Roman Josi and Filip Forsberg also lighting the lamp. Ryan Johansen provided two helpers and Juuse Saros took the loss for the Predators with five goals allowed on 29 shots.

Vladimir Tarasenko led the St. Louis scoring spree with a hat trick including the overtime winner with Alex Pietrangelo and Tyler Bozak also scoring. Jay Bouwmeester and Ryan O’Reilly logged two helpers apiece for the Blues and Jake Allen gave up four goals on 44 shots to get the win.
