The Senators received two goals from Chris Tierney with Thomas Chabot and Mark Stone also finding the back of the net. Chabot added an assist and Craig Anderson picked up the victory with a 26 save performance.
The New York Islanders are looking for consistency after dropping six of eight following a 3-2 defeat to visiting Vegas on Wednesday. Anthony Beauvillier scored in the first for New York with Adam Pelech lighting the lamp in the second. Matthew Barzal assisted on each goal and Robin Lehner gave up three goals on 17 shots to get the loss for the Islanders.
The Golden Knights received goals off the stick of Jonathan Marchessault in the first and William Karlsson in the second while Tomas Nosek netted the winner in the third. Marc-Andre Fleury picked up the win for Vegas with two goals allowed on 25 shots.
