The Bell Centre has been a house of horrors or the New York Rangers over the last few years but Saturday night they finally put together a solid effort against the Montreal Canadiens. With Henrik Lundqvist riding the pine the Rangers got an outstanding goaltending performance from Cam Talbot who has been a huge addition to this club as their backup goaltender. The Rangers also got a superb team effort against the Canadiens, something that New York will need when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden. Los Angeles has been playing without their star netminder Jonathan Quick but in his absence the Kings have seen Ben Scrivens rise to the occasion. Scrivens stopped all 24 shots he faced in Saturday night's 2-0 victory over the Devils and Los Angeles got third period goals from Dwight King and Anze Kopitar to take down New Jersey. Los Angeles is looking to end this road trip on Sunday night with a fourth straight win and they've got a great chance to do it against a New York club that really struggles against some of the bigger and stronger Western Conference clubs. If the Kings can get a lead early in this one and get their forecheck going they might be able to wear down the Rangers. New York will look for Henrik Lundqvist to keep them in this one until they get their feet going and hopefully find a way to get a lead and hold on.
