The Jets look to get back in the win column after a loss their last time out as they ehad into MSG to take on a Rangers team that is 3-0 to start the season.
The Winnipeg Jets are playoff hopefuls in the Western Conference this season after sneaking into the dance last year and after a first round sweep at the hands of the Ducks you can bet the Jets will be using that as motivation this time around. Winnipeg has a pretty solid roster and a good balance of youth and experience but they play in a very tough Central division and will have to contend with the likes of St. Louis, Chicago, and Minnesota all season and landing a top three spot against those teams will be a tall task. The Jets continue their road trip as they have yet to play a game at home this season and heading into New York to battle the Rangers is never a game teams circle on their calendar as the Blue Shirts are dynamite at home and have won their lone contest at MSG this season against the Blue Jackets.
The Rangers sit atop the Metro division right now thanks to their unblemished record and additional games played but teams and fans alike should get used to seeing this group at or near the top of the division and conference. New York was a win away from the Stanley Cup finals a season ago and have the roster to get there this year but a tough division will have them in a tight race not only for tops in the Metro but tops in the East as well as there are some quality teams in both and New York will have to earn every accolade they get this season. This should be one of the more exciting match ups on the schedule on Tuesday night and with the price here for the home side I don't like the game much in terms of wagering but if I had to I would take the Rangers and push away some juice with a regulation play.
