The Montreal Canadiens ended a four game home stand with three straight victories after a 3-2 win versus St. Louis on Wednesday. The Blues received power play goals from Vince Dunn and Brayden Schenn with Jake Allen allowing three goals on 23 shots to get the loss.
The Canadiens offense came off the sticks of Max Domi, Mike Reilly and Brendan Gallagher. Reilly also logged a helper and Carey Price recorded 23 stops to pick up the win for Montreal.
The Ottawa Senators are gunning for their third straight home victory after downing Dallas 4-1 on Monday. The Stars opened the scoring on a first period power play tally with Ben Bishop giving up three goals on 23 shots to absorb the loss.
The balanced Senators attack received goals from Maxime Lajole, Brady Tkachuk, Mikkel Boedker and Zack Smith. Matt Duchene logged a pair of assists for Ottawa to make a winner of Crag Anderson and his 37 stops.
