Saturday NHL action pits the Chicago Blackhawks against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Chicago Blackhawks saw their slide reach six games after a 4-3 loss to visiting Carolina on Thursday. Patrick Kane, David Kampf and Nick Schmalz scored for the Blackhawks with Corey Crawford getting the loss with four goals allowed on 35 shots.

The balanced Hurricanes attack saw scoring from Andrei Svechnikov, Jacob Slavin, Phillip Di Giuseppe and Calvin de Haan. Lucas Wallmark logged two helpers and Scott Darling stopped 37 shots to get the win for Carolina.

The Philadelphia Flyers swept their home-and-home series with Arizona after a 5-4 OT victory on Thursday that gave the team wins in four of five. Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Brad Richardson, Derek Stepan and Michael Grabner provided he Coyotes scoring while Darcy Kuemper stopped 26 shots.

Scott Laughton paced the Philadelphia offense with a pair of goals with Travis Konecny and Dale Weiss also scoring in regulation. Shayne Gostisbehere tallied 61 seconds in to OT to make a winner of Brian Elliott who stopped all 18 shots he saw in relief of Calvin Pickard (14 saves).
