Pittsburgh hasn't even played all that well to start the year and yet they're still off to a 5-1 start. Their most recent outing, a 3-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers, is just another example of how this club finds ways to win games during the regular season. This has all been done without James Neal and Krist Letang, two players who are pretty good in their own right. Letang is close to returning so perhaps he's back in the lineup for this one against the Flyers. Marc-Andre Fleury has gotten off to a strong start to the year and with Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby, Chris Kunitz, and many others in your lineup you're always going to find a way to score goals. In Philadelphia it's the exact opposite where this team just can't get out of its own way. Tuesday night's loss to the Vancouver Canucks featured an unfortunate bounce off the boards that led to an easy tap in goal into an empty net for Ryan Kesler, but that's the way things have been going for Philadelphia this year. They can't score to save their lives and that's not exactly a recipe for success when you're facing the high powered Penguins. Philadelphia has had Pittsburgh's number at times and they aren't intimidated by the Penguins but right now they're a mess and this isn't an unreasonable number.
