Two hockey clubs that don't like each other very much meet on Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia has picked up their play after a rough start and really should be on a three game winning streak had they not blown a lead against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. Still there's a lot of things for the Flyers to be positive about and with the shape of the Metropolitan Division right now they've got plenty of time to keep working on things and get it together. Still, Tuesday's loss was disappointing and another rough decision for Steve Mason who continues to be extremely good in net for the Flyers. Washington has one more game to play on this lengthy road trip that brough them to out to Canada. They had won three straight before dropping the final two games in Calgary and Vancouver. Now they'll look for one more win before returning home for a three games against lackluster competition. At 5-7-0 the Capitals haven't exactly set the world on fire but this is the type of game that could start them on a run with the way their schedule shakes out. Philadelphia has played much better over the last few games but they still haven't shown anything to warrant them being favorites in a match up like this.
