The Detroit Red Wings look for a little pay back when they travel to Phoenix to take on the Coyotes on Saturday night. Detroit has won four straight games to improve their record to 6-2-0 on the season with their last loss coming back on October 10th to Phoenix. Since then the Red Wings have been on a roll, most recently picking up a victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. Johan Franzen scored twice on the power play, Pavel Datsyuk added two even strength goals of his own, and Jonas Gustavsson made 38 saves as the Red Wings went on for the 4-2 win. It'll be a quick turnaround for the Coyotes who played last night in Anaheim and suffered a tough 3-2 defeat. Antoine Vermette evened the score at 1-1 in the second period and Rostislav Kesla's goal in the third gave Phoenix a lead that they were unable to hold. Anaheim scored with just over two minutes remaining and eventually won the game in a shootout. Still it's been a good start to the year for Phoneix who at 4-2-2 are right there in a highly competitive Pacific Division. Phoenix always plays the Red Wings tough but they're in a rough spot here playing back-to-back.
