The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Calgary Flames in Saturday NHL action.

The Calgary Flames find themselves staring at a four game slide following a 3-2 SO loss at Florida on Thursday. Mark Jankowski and Rasmus Andersson scored in the third period for Calgary. Sean Monahan scored the Flames only goal of the shootout and Mike Smith gave up two goals on 32 shots.

Florida received a first period goal from Evgenii Dadonov with Mike Hoffman scoring in the third. Aleksander Barkov and Vincent Trocheck netted SO goals and Hoffman added an assist for the Panthers who received 41 stops from James Reimer.

The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated visiting Edmonton 3-1 on Wednesday for consecutive victories. Leon Draisaitl gave Edmonton a 1-0 lead in the first period with Mikko Koskinen allowing two goals on 34 shots to absorb the loss. 

Pittsburgh received second period goals from Bryan Rust and Teddy Blueger with Jared McCann hitting the empty net. Seven Penguins recorded points and Matt Murray stopped 38 shots to pick up the win.

Flames are 7-16 in their last 23 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and Flames are 1-4 in their last 5 road games and Flames are 0-4 in their last 4 overall. 
Penguins are 13-5 in their last 18 vs. Pacific and Penguins are 23-9 in their last 32 vs. Western Conference and Penguins are 10-4 in their last 14 games following a win.
