The Canadiens look to keep moving forward without Carey Price as they head into Pittsburgh to battle the Penguins on Wednesday night.
The Montreal Canadiens were dealt a serious blow when Carey price went down with a lower body injury and heading into tonight's game it has been determined that he will be out for at least another week leaving Mike Condon to take the reins. Condon has been spectacular in relief this season as he has a 6-0-1 record with a sparkling 1.57 goals against average but those numbers are likely to even out as the season goes along and with substantial minutes on the horizon against some quality opponents it could happen sooner rather than later. The Habs are 6-2 on the road this season while the Penguins are 4-2 at home.
The Penguins are coming off a loss but are an impressive 8-2 over their last 10 contests and with the Canadiens coming to town with Price you can bet they will be dialed in to get back in the win column in this one. Pittsburgh has a ton of offensive fire power but it has been relatively quiet to start the year as they have netted just 31 goals so far this season which has them among the league's worst but with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Phil Kessel primed to heat up this Pens team could be very dangerous moving forward. I really don't like the odds in this game as the Penguins are big time favourites but to be honest I think at home in a game without Price it is their game to lose and I think they show up.
