The Ducks look to continue their winning ways after taking their second straight last night as they travel to San Jose to battle the Sharks.
The Anaheim Ducks got off to a pitiful start but as many expected they have rebounded nicely of late and while they still have a ton of ground to make up they are started to play with some conviction and look like the contenders everyone expected them to be. Anaheim is still three games under .500 and have yet to win a game away from home but are on the right track and against a division and in-state rival they have a great opportunity to make a statement tonight and should be in good position to grab their fourth straight. Frederik Andersen will likely get the call as he will go up against Martin Jones.
The San Jose Sharks continue to ruin our lives as they seem to do the exact opposite of whatever we think is going to happen and a win in their last outing was another prime example. The Sharks are 7-6 to start the season and are four points up on the Ducks heading into tonight's show down but they know full well that Anaheim is starting to put things together and should be treated as one of the league powers. San Jose is 3-3 at home and while the Ducks, as mentioned, have yet to win a game on the road I think the break through here and continue their winning ways at a great price.
