The Edmonton Oilers go on the road to face the San Jose Sharks in a Tuesday NHL Matchup.
The Edmonton Oilers need a change in momentum after a 6-3 loss to visiting Vegas on Sunday left the team looking at defeats in six of seven. Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid and Alex Chiasson slit the lamp for Edmonton who led 2-1 after 20 minutes. Drake Caggiula gave the Oilers two assists and Cam Talbot allowed six goals on 31 shots to get the loss.
Jonathan Marchesault paced the Golden Knights on the scoreboard with two goals while William Karlsson, Cody Eakin, Max Pacioretty and Reilly Smith also found the scoring column. Four players logged two assists each and Marc-Andre-Fleury picked up the win for Vegas with 29 saves.
The San Jose Sharks have playing well of late with wins in three of four capped off by a 4-0 victory against St. Louis on Saturday. St. Louis ran in to a hot goalie while Chad Johnson struggled with all four goals scoring on 29 shots.
Joe Pavelski topped the Sharks offense with a pair of goals with Erik Karlsson and Evander Kane also supplying markers. Logan Couture posted three assists and Timo Meier added two helpers to make the 30 save effort of Aaron Dell a winner for San Jose.
