The Kings look for their third win in a row as they head into San Jose on Thursday to battle with their division and in-state rivals.
The Kings are looking to add another stinging victory to their resume when it comes to games against the San Jose Sharks as the wounds are still healing from LA's epic come back victory in the playoffs two seasons ago that ultimately ended with a Stanley Cup victory for the black and purple. The Kings are projected to get back into the playoffs this season and once they are there the possibilities are endless as they won the league championship as an eight seed a few years back and are more than capable of doing so again. LA lost their first three games before bouncing back with two straight and can exact some revenge on the Sharks as the team's meet up in San Jose tonight.
The Sharks meanwhile got off to a red hot start winning their first four games but as they are known to do they are now falling the other way after back to back losses and this spot could set up number three. San Jose is a talented group but to me are a team that is one underperforming stretch away from blowing things up and if they are on the bubble around the trade deadline I think we could see some long time San Jose players on the move as they prepare for a rebuild. San Jose is getting a nice price as a home team here but I think the Kings get the win and at plus money it is a gift.
