New York Rangers take on the San Jose Sharks in San Jose, California on Thursday at the SAP Center at San Jose. The Rangers are coming off of a loss to the Los Angeles Kings that saw the Kings score in every period of the game. The Rangers have lost three of their five game, losing two of those games to the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
The Rangers have scored plenty of goals with Artemi Panarin being a great new addition, leading the team in points, goals and assists. However, despite the new addition and scoring in bunches, the Rangers haven’t been great resulting in a 15-12-3 record and sixth in the Metropolitan Division.
The San Jose Sharks have been terrible as of late, currently on a five-game losing streak, including the stretch of Florida games. The Sharks were on a two-game winning streak, but have since been unable to buy a win. The Sharks last loss was against the Nashville Predators, losing 3-1.
The Sharks are third in the Pacific Division with a record of 15-16-2, with 32 points. The Sharks can have a dynamic offense as well, with two of their three two leading points getters Logan Couture and Evander Kane. These two can be a dangerous threat against any team in the NHL.

San Jose is 14-19 ATS this season

Although the Sharks have played terrible, they have a lot of talent on the roster and once they are able to get some confidence, they can be a dangerous team again. However, I don’t think they will get it here as the Rangers have proven to be a good defensive team and I think they can limit Kane. Final Score Prediction, the New York Rangers win 3-1.
