The St. Louis Blues welcome the Carolina Hurricanes to the Enterprise Center for a Tuesday NHL matchup.
The Carolina Hurricanes have had a rough go of it of late with defeats in four straight following a 3-0 loss at the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. The Panthers offense sent 34 shots at Vegas but came up empty handed with Scott Darling allowing three goals on 25 shots to get the loss.
The Golden Knights received scoring from Brad Hunt, Ryan Reaves and William Carrier with Erik Haula posting a pair of helpers. Marc-Andre Fleury picked up the win for Vegas with a 34 save performance.
The St. Louis Blues look to get back in the win column after a 5-1 loss to visiting Minnesota on Saturday ended a modest two game winning streak. Ryan O’Reilly scored on a first period power play for the Blues with Jake Allen absorbing the loss with five goals allowed on 45 shots.
The balanced Minnesota offense received scoring off the sticks of Eric Staal, Nick Seeler, Matt Dumba and Eris Fehr. Seeler and Jordan Greenway supplied two assists each and Devan Dubnyk recorded 15 saves for the Wild.
