Vancouver Canucks (6-4-1) at St. Louis Blues (5-1-1)
|Date & Time||Friday October 25, 2013, 8:00 PM (EDT)|
The Line: St. Louis Blues -147 / Vancouver Canucks +134 --- Over/Under: 5.5
For the second time this season Roberto Luongo made Vancouver's decision to keep him over Cory Schneider look great. He outdueled his former teammate yet again on Thursday night as the Canucks defeated the Devils by a score of 3-2 in a shootout. Ryan Kesler and Daniel Sedin scored in regulation and Mike Santorelli scored the only goal in the shootout to give the Canucks the win. Another victory in St. Louis would make this an outstanding road trip for the Canucks but it won't be easy coming against this hard nosed Blues squad. It's been a full week since St. Louis' 4-3 defeat to the Winnpeg Jets so this could either be a game where they come out rusty from not having played in a while or with fresh legs. At 5-1-1 it's been a great start to the year for the Blues and they need to find a way to take advantage of the fact that the Canucks played last night. If St. Louis can assert themselves early they should have more in the tank late in the third period to get the win.
