The St. Louis Blues welcome the Vancouver Canucks to town in a Saturday NHL matchup.
The Vancouver Canucks were denied a 4thconsecutive win in a 3-2 loss at Nashville on Thursday. Marcus Granlund and Tanner Pearson scored in the first for the Canucks. Quinn Hughes posted a pair of helpers for Vancouver and Jacob Markstrom allowed three goals on 33 shots.
Colton Sissons lit the lamp in the second for Nashville with Nick Bonino and Ryan Johansen adding third period markers. Austin Watson logged a pair of helpers for the Predators and the win went to Pekka Rinne who gave up two goals on 32 shots.
The St. Louis Blues have won three of four after outscoring visiting Philadelphia 7-3 on Thursday. Oskar Lindblom, James van Riemsdyk and Claude Giroux scored first period goals for Philadelphia. Riemsdyk also assisted for the Flyers and Brian Elliott gave up four goals on five shots before Carter Hart stopped 27-30 shots in relief.
Alexander Steen led St. Louis with two markers with Ivan Barbashev, Ryan O’Reilly, Patrick Maroon, David Perron and Brayden Schenn adding goals. Jordan Binnington picked up the victory with three goals given up on 29 shots.
Canucks are 22-48 in their last 70 road games and Canucks are 21-47 in their last 68 games as a road underdog and Canucks are 5-13 in their last 18 vs. a team with a winning record.
Blues are 12-2 in their last 14 games as a home favorite and Blues are 13-3 in their last 16 home games and Blues are 7-2 in their last 9 overall.
Canucks are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings and under is 30-14-9 in the last 53 meetings and under is 8-2-3 in the last 13 meetings in St. Louis.
With nothing to play for these odds are ridiculous so I’m not touching this. I’ll throw this out there…
