The Blackhawks look to retake the series lead after a sloppy effort in game two as the Cup final shifts back to Chicago for game three on Monday.
The Lightning continued to show their incredible resolve with a rebound effort over the weekend and have no evened up the series at a game apiece heading into the United Center on Monday and the Bolts can retake home ice advantage but getting a split on the road. Tampa didn't look overly impressive in game one and when Ben Bishop went out in the late stages of game two it could have been a nightmare situation but they were able to hold on for a much needed victory but the looming question around Bishop's health remains a serious question as they are in big trouble if he can't go moving forward. Tampa will look for their offense to continue to propel them forward and the Hawks will look to be in a stronger defensive mindset in this game as they know they weren't at their best in game two.
The Hawks were highly critical of themselves after game two's loss and with the group they have in the dressing room it wouldn't come as a surprise at all to see them come out and absolutely dominate game three and retake momentum. However, this Lightning group is very talented and is easily the fastest team the Hawks have seen in these playoffs and if Tampa can continue their run and gun style it could be tough for them to keep up across a seven game set. However, the Hawks have way too much fire power not to grab the lead here and with Ben Bishop's status up in the air it adds more confusion to the fold and if Vasilevskiy gets the nod I think the Hawks get a big win at home.
