The Ducks and Lightning meet up in Florida on Sunday in a battle of two of the league's best teams that could very well be a Cup preview.
The Anaheim Ducks will look to make another strong statement as they head into Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning in another show down between two of the league’s best teams. The Ducks have been incredibly good this season and have been consistent from the get go and heading into today's game they sit in sole possession of first place in the league standings. They have been just as good on the road as they have been at home and they'll have to be on point here against Tampa as the Bolts have been very good at home and will be looking to end a two game slide.
The Lightning meanwhile have lost their grip on top spot in the Atlantic and will look to regain top spot with a solid effort here but they know they'll have to be on point against the Ducks who have set the bar this season. Tampa has been the league's best offense and will put that title to the test against a solid goalie in Frederik Andersen who is quietly having a great season and should be getting more consideration for the Vezina. This should be a great game between two of the league's best and there is a great chance that Andrei Vasilevski will get the call but to be honest I think that could lean in Tampa's favour as he has been great this season and I think the Bolts step up on home ice.
