The Sabres finally got back in the win column on Friday night with a 3-1 victory over the Florida Panthers. Trailing 1-0 late in the second period it was Rasmus Ristolainen with his first goal of the season to even the score. In the third period it was Steve Ott also adding his first of the year and Cody Hodgson securing the win with an empty net goal. Don't let Buffalo's second win of the season fool you though. This was a team that was thoroughly out played once again but they just happened to ride an outstanding effort from Jhonas Enroth. The backup netminder made 44 saves in a game that saw his club outshot 45-21. Once again the Sabres looked like they weren't ready to play, getting outshot 18-4 in the opening frame. This isn't a very good hockey club and if they don't get all world goaltending performances like they did on Friday night they're going to have trouble winning. Now they face a Tampa Bay squad that can put the puck in the net a little bit better than the Panthers can and they're playing the second night of a back-to-back.
