All the talk recently has been about the Oilers potentially trading former No. 1 overall pick Nail Yakupov in a potential trade to bring back some defense. Head coach Dallas Eakins came out on Wednesday and said that Yakupov won't be moved and that he sat him down and told him so, but you still have to wonder what's going on behind closed doors. The Oilers finally snapped their lengthy losing streak with a victory over the Florida Panthers but they still are in desperate need of anyone who can play defense and they're not going to go anywhere until they get that. Thursday night's match up with Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis isn't exactly what they need right now but this club is so weak on the back end that it doesn't matter who they play they're always going to be in trouble. They've given up at least four goals in five of their last six games and it's hard to see that trend changing in this one.
