The Tampa Bay Lightning sit atop the Atlantic standings after a 5-2 victory against Edmonton Tuesday gave the team a three game winning streak. Ryan Strome and Leon Draisaitl scored for Edmonton and Mikko Koskinen gave up all five goals on 36 shots to get the loss.

Nikita Kucherov paced the Tampa Bay offense with a pair of goals with Steven Stamkos, Yanni Gourde and Brayden Point all lighting the lamp. Stamkos gave the Lightning a pair of assists and Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 34 shots to pick up the win.

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
