The Vegas Golden Knights go to Tampa, Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday at the Amalie Arena. The Golden Knights are coming off of a two-game losing streak, defeating the Carolina Hurricanes and the Nashville Predators in their last game. Their win over the Hurricanes snapped a two-game losing streak, losing to the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens. The Golden Knights have still won three of their last five, defeating the Ottawa Senators as well as their win streak.

The Vegas Golden Knights are 27-20-7 on the season and are 13-10-4 on the road. The Vegas Golden Knights have jumped from fourth place in the Pacific Division to third place in the division due to their winning streak. However, a few wins and the Golden Knights can skyrocket to the top of the standings as quickly as they fell, as they are only four points away from the top. Still, they will need to find the form that they had last month and continue their winning streak; they don't do anything better than all teams in the NHL, and they are consistent in what they are going.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are coming off of a victory over the Los Angeles Kings, and have won three of their last five games. However, both losses the Lightning have faced in their previous five games have come down to one goal defeats.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are 32-15-5 on the season, with a home record of 15-7-2, playing pretty well at their home arena. The Tampa Bay Lightning are one of the best offensive teams in all of the NHL, scoring the third-most goals in the NHL and are also in the top ten in goals allowed, playing terrific on both ends of the ice.

Vegas is 22-32 ATS this season
Golden Knights are 7-3 in their last 10 Tuesday games.
Tampa Bay is 21-31 ATS this season
Lightning is 22-6 in their last 28 vs. Pacific.

Both teams are playing very well at the moment, and this game could be a toss-up. However, even though Vegas is playing well and are on a two-game win streak, the Tampa Bay Lightning are a hotter team at the moment, being on a three-game win streak, and winning four of their last five. The Lightning has also shown the ability to blow teams out, as they recently put up seven goals against a team. I don't think that the Tampa Bay Lightning put up that many goals in this one, but I do think that they win this one close. Final Score Prediction, Tampa Bay Lightning win 5-4.
