The Oilers head into Toronto looking to extend their winning streak while the Leafs look to stop the bleeding and avoid another loss on home ice.
The Oilers are coming off one of their most impressive victories of the season as they went into Pittsburgh and left with a shootout victory and they can now follow that up with their second road win in as many chances as they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Oil have had success in this building over the years and with Toronto struggling the way they are this season and turning to Garret Sparks in the crease they are clearly in a tough spot. Edmonton is still without Connor McDavid which would have been the first time the rookie phenom played at the ACC but Edmonton is still a nice draw so in the very least for Maple Leafs fans they get to see some talented players. Cam Talbot will get the nod for Edmonton between the pipes.
The Leafs meanwhile are coming off a loss on the weekend and now sit in the Eastern Conference and sit a point up on Edmonton for the worst mark in the league. However, this should be a decent match up on paper as these teams don't see each other very often and with the Oil having a ton of talent from Ontario on their roster we are likely to see a bunch of friends and family in the crowd supporting the visitors and it should make for a nice atmosphere. The Leafs have been bad at home and while Edmonton has already lost 10 road games this season I don't see it here as I like the Oilers to get the victory.
