The Toronto Maple Leafs have been playing well with wins five of seven and a spot in the postseason wrapped up. Toronto is looking to rebound from a 3-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Monday where Nazem Kadri and Patrick Marleau scored second period goals.
Jack Eichel gave the Sabres a 1-0 lead in the first and scored the game winner in the third period with Casey Nelson also scoring in the third. Zemgus Girgensons gave Buffalo a pair of helpers and Chad Johnson stopped 39 shots to get the win while Frederik Andersen stopped 24 shots for Toronto.
Panthers are 8-1 in their last 9 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game and under is 5-1 in Panthers last 6 vs. a team with a winning record and Panthers are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. Atlantic. Over is 11-0 in Maple Leafs last 11 vs. a team with a winning record and over is 7-0 in Maple Leafs last 7 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game and over is 5-0 in Maple Leafs last 5 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings and Panthers are 0-4 in the last 4 meetings in Toronto and home team is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings.
This looks to be one of those games that is appealing to watch and not so much on the betting front…
