The Vegas Golden Knights take the ice at the Toronto Maple Leafs in Tuesday NHL action.
The Vegas Golden Knights are gunning for back to back victories after downing the visiting Carolina Panthers on Saturday. The Panthers offense sent 34 shots at Vegas but came up empty handed with Scott Darling allowing three goals on 25 shots to get the loss.
The Golden Knights received scoring from Brad Hunt, Ryan Reaves and William Carrier with Erik Haula posting a pair of helpers. Marc-Andre Fleury picked up the win for Vegas with a 34 save performance.
The Toronto Maple Leafs avoided a three game skid with a 5-0 victory at Pittsburgh on Saturday. The dangerous Penguins offense was held in check and Matt Murray was charged with five goals on 31 shots to absorb the loss.
Morgan Rielly paced the Maple Leafs offense with a pair of markers while John Tavares, Patrick Marleau and Zach Hyman also lit the lamp. Mitch Marner and Kasperi Kapanen added two assists each for Toronto and Frederik Andersen brushed aside 31 shots to get the win.
