The Vegas Golden Knights look to get back in the win column after suffering a 4-3 OT loss to visiting Montreal on Saturday. Brandon Pirri topped the Golden Knights with a pair of goals with Jonathan Marchessault also lighting the lamp. Brayden McNabb and William Karlsson gave Vegas a pair of helpers each and Marc-Andre Fleury gave up four goals on 47 shots.

The Canadiens received a hat trick off the stick of Phillip Danault with Paul Byron potting the winner less then two minutes in to the extra session. Max Doni, Tomas Tater and Brendan Gallagher each had two assists for Montreal who saw Carey Price stop 23 shots.

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
