Patrick Kane paced the big offense of the Blackhawks with a hat trick with Brandon Saad lighting the lamp twice. Dylan Strome, Erik Gustafsson and Jonathan Toews gave Chicago two assists each and Collin Delia picked up the win with 46 saves.
The Winnipeg Jets hope to get back in the win column after a 4-1 loss to visiting Calgary on Thursday prevented a three game winning streak. Adam Lowry scored unassisted in the second for Winnipeg with Connor Hellebuyck getting the loss with three goals scoring on 28 shots.
Johnny Gaudreau topped the Flames offense with a hat trick with Mark Jankowski scoring a shorthanded goal. Elias Lindholm had two assists and Sean Monahan added three helpers for Calgary who received 35 stops from David Rittich.
