Things haven't quite gone as easily for the San Jose Sharks in the month of November as they did to start the year. A team that looked unbeatable and that was dominating clubs in the month of October has yet to find a win in their first three games this month. They lost to the worst team in the league on home ice and also were beaten by a Vancouver Canucks club that they've recently dominated. It's not an issue for concern because all teams hit patches like this during the course of a season, but this club has to get back to playing their style of hockey. They'll get a good chance to turn things around in Winnipeg on Sunday night but the Jets are coming off one of their best perfomances of the season on Friday night. They scored four times in the first period en route to a 5-0 win over the Nashville Predators but they still needed a great effort from their goaltender. Nashville came hard after their lousy first period and put 41 shots on Ondrej Pavelec who stopped them all. Pavelec is going to be tested like that again on Sunday night against a Sharks club that can put up heavy shot totals as well. It's hard to see Winnipeg making the playoffs this year but if they're going to have any chance they have to prove that they can win some games against the top teams in the Western Conference.
