After a bumpy few weeks which included a change in manager and a win away from home, the Rosseneri will be back at the San Siro where they will try to go back to back as they play Carpi. This is a game that AC Milan should win and although the result will have very little impact on the standings of the season, it will be good to build some confidence and form as they head toward the Coppa Italia final against Juventus which is only a few weeks away now.
Carpi on the other hand have plenty to play for and they will fight hard for a result here since they are not safe at all in the context of avoiding relegation. This side sits one points above the relegation zone and they will feel as if though they need points. A point here will be massive for the visitors but it won’t be easy since the San Siro is not an easy place to play as a visiting side and a new manager at Milan will mean that the hosts will be playing hard.
AC Milan are a team that needs a change in transfer strategy and at the moment the squad they have is nowhere near the team they need if they want to return to the top level of European football. That being said the likes of Carlos Bacca and Giacomo Bonaventura are surely in the future of the club so ensuring they are in form is something of importance. Regardless of that though, I think they always win this match since they are way too strong at home.
As far as betting is concerned, we are getting too short of a price to bet on AC Milan. That being said there is still value in this game and that comes in the form of the goal line. AC Milan have been lacking goals lately and with that trait in mind the under 2.5 goals bet is a great option. We are getting a good enough price on this wager and I think a medium size bet is the correct play here.
